He added, "Next year, we will provide an additional $300 million, including humanitarian support and free development cooperation, and prepare a support package of more than $2 billion for active reconstruction."
Highlighting the need for multilateral development bank (MDBs) reforms and international digital norms, President Yoon said, "South Korea will announce the 'Digital Rights Charter' at the end of this month and declare the right to digital enjoyment as a universal human right."
On the previous day, in the 'One Earth' session, President Yoon stated, "South Korea will play the role of a 'green ladder' to support countries vulnerable to climate change," and pledged an additional $300 million to the GCF for 2024-2027.
