The Lebanese militant group Hezbollah, which has been attacking Israel in support of the Palestinian armed faction Hamas, has mentioned the possibility of a full-scale war with Israel.
In a warning, they also stated that any preemptive Israeli strike on Lebanon would be a historical mistake, and relayed a message of disregard for the U.S. carrier strike group positioned near Israel.
In his first public speech since the outbreak of the Israel-Hamas war on the 3rd local time, Hassan Nasrallah, Secretary-General of Hezbollah, was reported by Reuters and other foreign media to have said, "All options are on the table, and a full-scale war with Israel is feasible."
Nasrallah claimed that Hezbollah has been involved in the war since the day after it started last month, on the 8th, with the aim of stopping Israel's invasion of the Gaza Strip.
He went on to say that if Israel does not agree to a ceasefire, the fighting at the Israel-Lebanon border will not remain as limited as it currently is, hinting at the possibility of escalation.
Following the outbreak of hostilities, Hezbollah launched rockets, mortars, and anti-tank missiles towards the northern border areas of Israel, which retaliated with artillery and drones targeting the launch sites of Hezbollah's attacks.
Israel has repeatedly warned that while it has no interest in escalating the conflict at the northern border, it would extract a high price for continued provocations.
Secretary-General Nasrallah stated, "If the enemy (Israel) attacks Lebanon or launches a preemptive military operation, it will be the most historically foolish mistake, threatening its very existence."
He also dismissed the threat posed by the U.S. carrier strike group deployed near Israel in anticipation of Iranian intervention, blaming the U.S. for Israel's invasion of the Gaza Strip.
"We are not afraid of the American fleet. We are prepared for all scenarios. If a full-scale war breaks out, the U.S. will pay the price with their ships, aircraft, and soldiers, " he declared.
Furthermore, he added that only the U.S., who initiated the conflict, has the power to end the ongoing events in the Gaza Strip.
Nasrallah also argued that Arab and Islamic nations should strive to stop Israel's invasion of the Gaza Strip and should not sell oil to Israel.
This news article paints a picture of a highly volatile situation, with Lebanon's Hezbollah openly stating its capability and willingness to engage in an all-out war with Israel. It underscores the intricacies of Middle Eastern geopolitics, where the power dynamics involve not only the immediate parties but also influential external nations such as the United States.

--------------------
They really have some nerve. They attack Israel first and then say they won't stand by if they are attacked?
The old folks in the USA need to taste their own missiles to come to their senses, haha.
They just run their mouth, it's similar to North Korea.
At times like this, I really wish a fuel that could replace oil would be developed quickly. I want to see those who live stupidly off oil like Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Iran go bankrupt.
ㄴ They have nuclear weapons, don't they?
Now everyone must have realized, right? Religion is a mental illness.
