Following the South Korean military's partial suspension of the 9.19 military agreement, North Korea has declared it will no longer be bound by the agreement and has announced the immediate restoration of all previously suspended military actions.
North Korea has continued its show of military force, launching another ballistic missile last night.
After the South Korean military partially suspended the effectiveness of the 9.19 military agreement and restored aerial surveillance and reconnaissance activities, North Korea responded that they too are not bound by the agreement.
Today, North Korea, through its official media, the Korean Central News Agency, claimed that the launch of reconnaissance satellites falls under the legitimate exercise of sovereignty and self-defense.
Subsequently, North Korea announced the immediate restoration of all military measures that were suspended under the 9.19 military agreement and the forward deployment of more powerful forces and new military equipment in the Military Demarcation Line area.
North Korea criticized South Korea for blatantly discarding its publicly stated commitments and stated that any conflicts between the two Koreas would be entirely the responsibility of South Korea.
Earlier last night, North Korea continued its military provocations.
The Joint Chiefs of Staff announced that around 11:05 pm last night, North Korea launched a ballistic missile from the Sunan area in South Pyongan Province towards the East Sea.
The Joint Chiefs of Staff estimated that this ballistic missile launch failed, and South Korean and U.S. intelligence agencies are currently conducting further analysis.
Earlier yesterday, the Ministry of National Defense decided to suspend the effectiveness of Article 1, Clause 3 of the 9.19 military agreement, which includes provisions on no-fly zones near the Military Demarcation Line, starting at 3 pm.
This suspension has restored aerial surveillance and reconnaissance activities in the vicinity of the Military Demarcation Line.
The Ministry of National Defense stated that this is "a necessary measure to protect the lives and safety of our citizens from North Korea's nuclear missile threats and various provocations and a minimal defensive measure."
The Joint Chiefs of Staff announced that based on the analysis of the flight trajectory information of the military reconnaissance satellite launched the night before, the satellite body is assessed to have entered orbit.
However, they explained that further analysis is required to determine whether the satellite is functioning normally, in coordination with relevant agencies and through South Korea-U.S. cooperation.

100% of the responsibility for breaking the promise lies with North Korea.
ㄴ So, what, are we going to war now? End up like Ukraine, fighting to the end, half the population dead or impoverished?

Yoon Seok-yeol, who's stuck in ideology and hasn't served in the military~ If you're not with him, you're the enemy, he's extremely black-and-white in his thinking, a diplomatic ignoramus~ The future looks bleak.
ㄴ Isn't your future more bleak?
It's going exactly as the pro-Japanese faction would want. Creating a perfect excuse to drive the atmosphere towards war.
ㄴ These are anti-national forces, their speciality is treachery and treason.
